In 2006, a massive bestseller by Rhonda Byrne swept across America; entitled The Secret, it celebrated principles of self-aggrandizement that taught readers how to tap inside of themselves to harness their inner potential and gifts and make the utmost out of their lives. Source of the Secret, in turn, emerged two years later and represents a definitive Christian response to Byrne’s text.
